Quick Tip - Creative Text
I think we often under estimate the power of text. It can have a huge impact, if done right.
Consider the two examples below. . .
In the first example I clicked "Add Text," typed in "Happy Birthday," centered it, added color and I was done. In the second example I added each letter individually. This way I was able to use a variety of fonts, colors and angles, which really brought the text to life!

Scrapbook Factory Deluxe Tutorial: Working With Shapes - Part 1
Step #1: Click on "Drawing Tools" and select "Draw a Rectangle."
Step #2: Draw a Rectangle and double click on it.
Step #3: Select the shape you would like. For this tutorial I selected "Petal."
Step #4: Use the sliders to customize the shape to your liking. To customize your shape even more use the "Fill" and "Line" tabs that were explained in this tutorial.
Below you can see the various images I was able to create by simply following the 4 steps above.
The "shape function" is BY FAR my favorite Scrapbook Factory Deluxe function. I use it ALL of the time. This is where you can really put your creativity to work! I would love to hear about or see ways you use this function in your own work!7.07.2009
